i love/hate tetris

okay here's my first ever blog.the official tetris games that i own and play regularly, sorted by the date i obtained them:
NES tetris (circa late 1989)
GB tetris (circa early 1990)
N64 the new tetris (circa 1999)
PS2 tetris worlds (May 17, 2006)
NDS lite tetrisDS (June 11, 2006)
well its not a huge list, but i think it incorporates most of the 'best' versions of tetris minus TGM versions which I would love to try.
i guess its a good thing that the xbox360 TGM ace tetris is only available in Japan, as i would feel compelled to buy the system and the game to satisfy my obsessive-compulsive tendencies.
i have also recently gotten into Cultris for PC which for me is enhanced greatly by a PS2-to-USB adapter for the PS2 controller along with the program, joy2key. i suck with a keyboard, although i suspect most of the best players are using keyboards and that to get a high blocks-per-minute count it is necessary. that being said, i am still able to get onto the leaderboard in cultris with only a 66 BPM average, compared to 100+ BPM for most of the elite. I definately keep up with players who are sometimes more than twice as fast as i am. i think the keyboard gives an advantage to those who use it because they have a dedicated finger for each function compared to two thumbs(no hold in cultris) on a controller.
